Just like the other moms, I want nothing but the best for my baby. But as a first time mom, there are so many questions, confusions that have bothered me when it comes to my Little Cody’s health and needs. “Should I give this, or that? When? How?”. Some may say I’m just over-reacting, but I just want to make sure I’m doing it right for my little boy.
The feeding part was not an exception to that. Back when my baby was just a few months old, I remember I can’t wait to feed him with solid foods. But despite that, I’m afraid! “What if he’s not yet ready?”, “Was his small digestive system strong enough?”, “What are the signs that he’s ready?” Those were some questions that I have in mind and later, our doctor has helped me with during our visit. At six months old, she gave me a go signal to start feeding my baby with solid foods.
I’ve been feeding my baby with solid foods for more than six months already. He just turned one last month, and his appetite is improving more and more. His little mouth is like a little food machine, he’s my little foodie.
You know, this little boy loves to eat cereals and lately, I introduced GERBER CEREALS to him. I picked the Gerber Multigrain Cereal for him, and I’m glad he loves it. We got it at Target, and if you’ll just walk on the baby aisle, you’ll see there are different flavors to choose from.
I really love the GERBER CEREALS for Cody
Since not all cereals are made equal, you’ll see GERBER CEREALS are the number one source of iron, and that it also have ten essential vitamins and minerals to help and support babies’ growing needs. You know, out of nine babies, there is one that doesn’t get enough iron in his diet. With just two servings everyday, that is about half of a cup, GERBER CEREAL helps moms to give at least 90% of babies’ daily iron intake. Iron plays an important part on our little ones’ healthy brain development.
I said, I love GERBER CEREALS for my Little Cody Bear. Yes, I do. But what I do love even more is that my baby loves it, too! But being a curious and playful little one just the way babies always used to be, playing with his food while eating them seems like more fun to him. As long as he is happy, I’ll support him; let him play while encouraging him to eat, too.
Whether it’s thick or thin, I also love that it’s up to me to decide what consistency I want to feed my baby with GERBER CEREALS. You can also mix it with Gerber purees. I noticed that my Little Cody loves it more when his cereal is in thick consistency, so I only add enough water that doesn’t make it too watery.
Feeding time could be messy most of the time..
Sometimes, he may look like as if he bath in the sea of cereals, but that’s okay as long as I know he is happy. I learnt that it’s best to feed him with GERBER CEREALS on days that I don’t need to hurry so I can just let him play, eat, enjoy, and mess with his food, if you know what I mean.
