If you love eating three milk cakes, or you’re maybe planning to serve it on the upcoming Day of the Dead celebration, I bet you’re going to enjoy today’s post. I just made one and used an additional ingredient which took it to a newer version. As you know, I always love to discover new taste and make my own version of the foods that I eat and cook (most of the time). From adding chilli to the traditional recipes to adding other herbs and spices, and seasonings; here I am again. But this time I’m using cereals to make my own version of three milk cake.
Yes, I said it right and you read it right: CEREALS. I used the General Mills Cinnamon Crunch for my recipe today, who would have thought that was possible with three milk cakes?! It may give it a little difference in color because of Cinnamon Toast Crunch as its main ingredient, but it doesn’t compromise the taste. It still tastes good, and oh—smells good and yummy!
Though it already smells like cinnamon, as the Cinnamon Toast Crunch name implies, I still decided to add a couple of teaspoons of cinnamon ground. You can omit adding it if you doesn’t want it. For the cooking time, I only spend around 30-40 minutes to prepare the cake before I finally baked it for another 30 minutes. I waited for another 2 hours for the cake to cool down so I could put it in the fridge.
