As a couple who’s getting into the road of building a family, we can’t deny the fact that we need a home to live with. A home that we can call our own. Yep, we’d love to have our dream home and live there with our little family, which simply means, we’re planning to buy a home instead of just renting one.
Buying a home needs planning..
Of course.. of course. This is going to be a big leap on our finances. So many questions that run in our heads needs answers and we keep on researching for better insights on how we can make it right and get us to the right path.
Everyone wants to have a home, right? I can tell because we’re one of those aspirants. But it’s childish when you just put yourself in the situation of buying a home without looking and learning what needs to be done and what it takes.
I and my boyfriend often talk about topics concerning our plans about buying a home. It happens too often now, especially that we’re going to have our first baby soon. It’s not easy for us, especially for my boyfriend. He’s the one in-charge of earning money for our living right now. Due to my current condition, it’s really hard to put the balance between finances and our basic needs.
But you know everything can be made simple..
That is if we only know how to make proper planning. Although there will be some sacrifices at first and at some point, the long-term results will be beneficial. The best part of it is when we find ourselves in a more confident situation in controlling our finances. That is something like we’re living in sunny day and not for days of rains. If you get what I mean, rainy days are those times when you struggle financially and stressing things out.
We learned that..
Buying a home is not an easy decision we’re going to make. We keep on evaluating things and keeping an eye on our expenses. Asking ourselves if we can really afford it and what are the real costs we’re going to face are just one of the questions we keep looking for answers. We also learned that aside from saving as our first step to having a home, we will be needing an agent to help us find a good match for our needs and guide us all through the whole home-buying process.
We’d also love to hire a professional home inspector to check the house we’re going to buy as we can’t do it ourselves, we don’t have any expertise on hidden home issues especially when it looks visibly nice. We want to live there for long-term, so it’s okay if we hire one because it’ll surely save us from future home repairs as much as possible or at least make us familiar with what we might be facing in the long run.
Buying a home also comes with a responsibility which not only concerns about our mortgage payment. We have to be prepared for property taxes and budget for maintenance and repairs. Sounds like an endless obligation, eh?
Looking forward when our little one goes to school, we want a place to build our home near schools, work, supermarket, hospital, and so on. That’ll be so convenient for us because we want our first home to be something that we will live for the long-term.
And the saving tool..
This is easier said than done, but saving wisely is our key to buying a home we’ve wanted to have for our family. Lucky enough, there are available saving tools that can help us manage our finances. YourSunnyDay.com is one of those saving tools that can help us have our dream home when the time comes.
To our future home..
Whoa, buying a home for our little family is really a big decision we’re starting to make. Really. Researching, and trying to involve the right people into our house hunting are other things we have to work out with. And saving— of course is the most important part to make our home buying experience turn into something like we can call “Home Sweet Home” while living in sunny day.
